Market Description
The Noe Valley farmers' market is a true neighborhood gem that encapsulates the spirit of San Francisco's hip Noe Valley community. Whatever this market may lack in size it more than makes up for in friendly faces and personal shopping attention. A far cry from the frantic pace and overwhelming scale of the SF Ferry Plaza Market, Noe Valley is a great destination for foodies and families alike who'd prefer a slightly more relaxed market experience without sacrificing quality vendors or abundant, varied local produce.
In addition to the sweet stone-fruits, zesty citrus, organic veggies, sustainable meats and eggs, small-batch honey and gourmet olive oils available, you can also dig-in to a plate of steaming chilaquiles at the community table while enjoying the sounds of the Noe Valley Farmers' Market Musicians. This is the only market I've ever worked with a dedicated musician's collective attached to it - I'd recommend catching young Kif's power-ballads or The She's punk-rock set. These are the tunes to sample melons by!
Noe Valley Farmers' Market is located between Vicksburg and Sanchez on 24th St. It is 2 blocks from the J-line Muni stop at Church St.
