Located in the heart of posh downtown Palo Alto, Evvia Estiatorio is a true gem, serving up mouth-watering Hellenic and contemporary cuisine in a cozy and hospitable environment. Focusing on fresh and seasonal produce, the chefs at Evvia are able to make the bounty of the many local farms they support really come alive. The Happy Boy products that Evvia features are Baby Mixed Salad Greens, Baby Spinach, Heirloom Tomatoes, Beets, Padron Peppers, and Butternut Squash.

Evvia has been working with Happy Boy Farms for 8 years and running, making this establishment one of the original restaurants to participate in our farm-direct delivery program. When asked why Evvia chooses to work with local farms, as opposed to going through larger distributors, Chef Rito Castaneda was very direct, “Quality, Service, and Friendship… we have very loyal customers and we want to be loyal to our wonderful suppliers”. The relationship between Evvia and Happy Boy is indeed a very special one—Chef Rito has come to cook for the entire Happy Boy crew at our end-of-the-year party on more than one occasion!

Above all else, Evvia chooses to work with Happy Boy for the outstanding quality of our produce. As Chef Rito said, “Our customers always ask us, where do you get your salad, your beets, your cipollinis, your heirloom tomatoes… and we are proud to say it’s Happy Boy”. He went on to say that when Evvia occasionally is unable to get a certain product and they have to source it from a larger distributor, their keen customers will ask, “Hey, what happened?  This is not the same…”

A meal at Evvia Estiatorio is something that many Happy Boys regard as a special treat. The service is incredible, the atmosphere is warm and homey with an old-world charm, and the dishes they create with our produce are out of this world. 

Evvia Estiatiorio is located at 420 Emerson Street in Palo Alto and is open Monday through Sunday for dinner and weekdays for lunch. Reservations are recommended.
